User Manual for Plug-in Sequential Controller TMS-002

Key Features

1. Direct manual control of needle valve opening and closing, with 4 time segments allowing up to 2 needle valve actions per working cycle (set t3 and t4 to 0 for single action).

2. Input signal selectable between switch signal or DC24V signal via jumper pins on the control card.

3. Output voltage selectable between DC24V or AC220V.

4. Two operating modes: A or B:

Mode A: Starts operation upon receiving input signal and continues until completion of t1, t2, t3, t4 even if input signal is disconnected mid-cycle;

Mode B: Starts operation upon receiving input signal but stops immediately when input signal is disconnected, even if t1, t2, t3, t4 are incomplete. Factory default is Mode B.

5. Input signal wiring has no polarity requirements.

Technical Parameters

1. Working Power Supply: AC85V-265V 50/60Hz

2. Input Signal: DC24V signal or switch signal (selectable via jumpers on controller circuit board, factory default: DC24V input signal)

3. Control Time Segments: Four time segments (t1, t2, t3, t4) where t1 and t3 are delay times, t2 and t4 are injection times

4. Time Range: 0.0 - 900.0 seconds

5. Output Signal: AC220V or DC24V (selectable via jumpers on controller circuit board, factory default: DC24V)

Precautions

1. Wiring connections between cables and mold, as well as signal wires and injection machine, must follow the wiring diagram on the cabinet.

2. Before powering on, check the following items:

a. Ensure all cables are securely connected

b. Verify matching wiring methods between mold junction box, connecting cables, and sequential control cabinet

c. Confirm input power supply meets the power requirements of the sequential control cabinet
     d. Ensure input signal matches input signal settings of sequential control cabinet (control card)
     e. Verify output voltage of sequential control cabinet matches valve voltage specifications (selectable via jumpers on control card circuit board)

  )

3. After powering on, ensure the cooling fan is operating normally

4. Disconnect the main power supply of the sequential control cabinet when replacing the control card or changing wiring methods

Panel Description:

In Stop State:

Prompt window displays "— — —.", Parameter window displays "Stop"

In Operating State:

Prompt window displays time segments: t1→t2→t3→t4, Parameter window displays numerical values for each time segment.

Indicator Light Description:

When the Close/Open manual button is pressed, the Open indicator light illuminates to indicate active output; output stops and Open indicator light turns off when released. In automatic mode, Close and Active indicator lights illuminate during t1 or t3 time segments, while Open and Active indicator lights illuminate during t2 or t4 time segments.

Button Description:

Close/Open button: Manual output button, activates output when pressed and stops output when released.

Pmtr button: Function button, press and hold for 3 seconds to enter function parameter setting mode.

▲ button: Function selection and parameter increase button.

▼ button: Function selection and parameter decrease button.

ON/OFF button: Power switch, press once to power on, press again to power off.

Operation Instructions:

Press ON/OFF once to power on, press again to power off.

Manual Output: Press Close/Open button – Open indicator light illuminates to confirm output; release to stop output.

Function and Parameter Setting: Press and hold Pmtr button for 3 seconds to enter function and parameter setting mode. Prompt window displays "A—B", Parameter window displays "B" or "A". Press ▲ to select Mode A, press ▼ to select Mode B (factory default: Mode B).

After selecting Mode A or B, press Pmtr once to enter t1 time setting (Prompt window displays "t1", Parameter window displays time value). Adjust parameters using ▲ and ▼ buttons. Press Pmtr again to enter t2 time setting, continue pressing to set t3 and t4. After setting t4, press Pmtr once to return to power-on state. All settings are saved automatically. Set t3 and t4 to 0 if these segments are not required.

AC220V/DC24V Conversion: Select via jumpers on controller circuit board. The board has 3 sets of jumper terminals: shorting the two terminals under "OUT:24V" selects 24V output; shorting the two terminals under "OUT:22V" selects AC220V output.

DC24V Input Signal/Switch Signal Selection: Select via jumpers on controller circuit board. The board has 2 sets of terminals: shorting MODE1 (1, 2, 3) under +24V selects DC24V signal input; shorting MODE2 (4, 5, 6) under SWITCH selects switch signal input.
